Hanford Lee Dixon (1958 - )

Drafted by the Browns in the first round of the 1981 NFL draft, Dixon went on to have an incredible career highlighted by two All-Pro seasons and three trips to the Pro Bowl. He and fellow cornerback Frank Minnifield were one of the best cornerback tandems in NFL history. Dixon also "found the Pound" in Cleveland, naming the now infamous Dawg Pound (initially in Municipal Stadium) for their fanaticism and antics. He is also a member of the Legends Club and Sports Hall of Fame at his alma mater, the University of Southern Mississippi.
