Larry William Jacobsen (1975 - )

Born in Wyoming, Jacobsen went to high school in Oregon before attending Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho.

Jacobsen was drafted in the 1997 MLB draft by the Brewers where he spent the next six years in their minor league system. In 2002 he went to play briefly for the Cardinals AA team before landing with Seattle in 2004.

Though he spent the majority of 2004 with the AAA club, Jacobsen was called up in July and, in only 160 plate appearances, hit .275 with 9 HR and 36 RBI. Unfortunately, Bucky didn't get to finish the season due to a knee injury that resulted in arthroscopic surgery. Following the surgery, Jacobsen never returned fully to form and eventually retired in 2007.
