Alex M. Molden (1973 - )

Molden was drafted by the Saints 11th overall in the 1996 NFL draft. That's impressive on its own. But Molden had suffered a major knee injury in the 1992 Independence Bowl, tearing his ACL, MCL and PCL and rehabilitated for nine months to return to the game. He went on to enjoy a successful 8-year career in the NFL with the Saints, Chargers, and Lions.

He is a 2008 inductee into the University of Oregon Hall of Fame.

His son, Elijah, was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the 2021 NFL Draft.
