Karan Higdon, Jr. (1996 - )

Higdon was raised in Sarasota, FL where he went to Riverview High. Following 218 carries for 1,471 yards (a 6.75 yd/carry average) and 16 touchdowns, Higdon ended up choosing to pursue football with the University of Michigan. 

In his four years with the Maize and Blue, Higdon had 471 carries for 2,616 yards (a 5.6 yd/carry average) and 27 touchdowns. He was the first Michigan back to rush for over 200 yards in a game in a decade, and the first with multiple 200-yard games in a season in 13 years. He was the first Michigan player to break the 1,000-yard mark in a season in five years.

Higdon joined the Texans as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL draft and is currently a free agent. He also serves as a mentor to youth for life both on and off the field.
